Case Study – Zappos.com Padzilla Coffee Table Installation
On Thursday, December 22nd, Christmas came early for the Zappos.com team in Las Vegas, NV. A humongous crate appeared at Zappos.com Shipping & Receiving.
Padzilla had arrived.
The guys at Santa’s favorite workshop wanted to ensure a great holiday for our favorite online shoe and apparel store. We delivered.
Our team traveled to the desert to install Padzilla as a coffee table for their company lounge. During installation, curious stares and questions were rampant. “What is it? This thing you guys are doing?”
The Zappos team brought in the Padzilla as a permanent fixture to their Vegas headquarters for both business and pleasure. The Padzilla itself functions just like an iPad, and can be loaded with all the same applications only used on a larger scale.
When the plastic wrapping finally came off, and the power turned on, the 20 or so Zapponians waiting anxiously cheered, hollered and hooted. Quite a sight for our team and an affirmation of our efforts.
And what was the first application they used? Angry Birds.
